IS IN LOVE.

I Heart.

This is a story of boy meets girl. The boy, Tom Hansen, grew up believing that he’d never truly be happy until the day he met the one. The girl, Summer Finn, did not share this belief. You should know up front this is not a love story.

When Waters Rise.

Flood
You came through night and day
Beating on tin roofs with hard rain
As waters fill the empty streets
Rising waters underneath our feet

Oh how my soul aches for you child
Oh how my hearts breaks for you dear mother
Seeing how everything you have
Is floating under water

You came blowing with wrath
Fierce winds blowing at your side
As cries echoes for dear life
Silence falls in the streets tonight

Oh how my soul aches for you brother
Oh my heart breaks for you dear father
Watching the hopes and dreams we have
Is simply washed away in the flood

This week has been a trying time, not the personal kind but more so on situation that is happening in the place where i was born. Typhoon Ondoy has left a once vibrant and metropolitan city of Manila in utter mess. Countless people are left without homes and nourishment. My heart aches and my soul is crying out, my home is in shambles and in complete chaos...i am left with a choice and with it opportunity to be a bearer of restoration and hope...i thank God for friends who feel the same, with the same `ache' and with a passion to extend a hand...the goal is set and we need to mobilize in any way we can..donate money, send packages of clothes, food and water..talk to your community leaders for the government to be an example that although we are oceans apart, we are still part of the global community and that caring is never out of fashion.

the not-so-good in goodbye's.

tonight was just a reminder how home isn't the place we live but more-so the people that we choose to surround ourselves...our walls are built with the experiences we chose to share with the people close to us..our beds are made of the chosen few we find comfort...tonight a friend decided to spread his wings and fly to a land distant from the ones he cherished dearly..a great unknown beyond the great sea, a land full of unfamiliar faces...i guess we never really know how much a person means to us until the goodbye...all the memories of good times and bad starts to bring a sense sadness but also a feeling of comfort knowing that we had them, every single minute of sleepovers, to all night video games and countless hours of talks...and although miles may separate our lives, the memories will forever be a constant reminder what was and what is to come...our life is a journey, a never ending discovery..whether it be in our own backyard or on an unfamiliar place, we must choose to embrace every minute of it..take hold of the challenges laid before us..sweat, tears and heartaches! knowing that in the end we will become better, better than the person that once was...journey on friend, take what yo learned and build from it, you will be dearly missed by your family and friends but know that you will not be forgotten...and wherever this journey of life may take you, know that we will always be here for you.

...see you in a minute brother.
