SOMETIMES, WE DON'T MAKE SENSE.

what if we put our good intentions to actions...what if what we do on sundays reflect our daily decisions...its like the verse that says `looking at a mirror and then forgetting what you look like'...a question comes to mind is `How?' like somewhere in between the mind and the hands seems to get lost in transmission..like there is something that always get in the way of `good intentions'....could it be laziness, could it be distractions or it could be the lack of accountability...we don't put enough pressure on ourselves or each other to do something about it..i'm not talking about bad pressure but good ones, kinda like the pressure to to do something bigger than our own...i don't know maybe i'm just mumbling words and connecting grammar mistakes but i feel like we've grown a generation of `que sera, sera'..`the future not ours to see'...i think that our future as an individual and as a society is a definite result of what we do NOW! we are moved by great speeches..moved by stories of pain, hunger and survival..but that's all we are, WE ARE JUST SIMPLY MOVED, nothing more...we dream of a better world, without looking for ways to make our world better...we speak of ideas and programs without having the sense to follow through...we have become stagnant and filled ourselves with `good intentions'...somewhere in between the 9-5 life and the television, somewhere in between the church service and youth groups..somewhere in between our dreams and goals there has to be more...we have chosen to settle, we have lived the comfort and drank the wine of consumerism...we filled ourselves with all the `good things' but what if we start to act upon the very idea of giving...what if we start to care more of whats happening outside the walls and look globally, instead of political dramas, what if we just do it just because it was the right thing to do...if you have the faith, at least have enough integrity to do something...it doesn't have to be big but just do something...do it because it bothers you, do it because it gives hope to another human being..just do something...i guess we're all in the same boat, you and i...we mean well yet do opposite or we just simply don't care enough to just simply stop our busyness and help another in need...lets choose the better and spread love where it needs...there was this quote in a book that says `that maybe we are the hands that is suppose to stop the bleeding'..i don't have to look too far to see that our world is slowly bleeding to death, so lets be it..let's be the hands God intended us to be, together.

i just had to put this here just for fun, just as an illustration on how sometimes, we contradict ourselves! have a good day.
